After all, they aren't just striking at Assad's forces, they are also providing weapons (and who knows what else) to the rebels. For all we know there are covert CIA ops going on over there already. No doubt they're feeding the rebels info and giving tactical advice.

China has announced it has warships on the way.

This little war has the potential to turn into one big war.

Israel would at least deserve it.
hiding behind there nuclear weapons we and the rest of the west help give them whilst bombing their neighbours and conducting assassinations outside of their country.
If they got blasted from this earth they would have earned it

the west would go ape **** if russia and china tried to give a country nuclear technology so no one would attack that country

Lol, hokay. On a minor point, the US didn't give Israel their nukes. The french helped build the first reactors and the Argetinians sold them ore which they processed into weapons grade plutonium. I dont recall if the USSR went ape. They were busy at the time.

Well it looks like they are building a fair amount of troops and warships just off Syria. I really hope the Americans do not attack Syria.

No, any reasonable Briton realises how futile and expensive it is to have civil/social systems we want to have and trying to field a worthwhile military.

YOU CANNOT DO BOTH, you either have two mediocre systems that are used against us (US lapdog etc) or one Excellent system with a mild system.

Now unless this nation is ready to all be conscripted, we have two options, Keep going as we are...albeit very slowly or start actually adapting the civil systems we use every day to suit the century we live in.

Considering the job cuts and such with the military and a navy that is frankly just support for the US Armada (Type-45 fits in quite well), It would seem that Westminster has finally come to at least some sense about its capabilities, leave the millions of deaths for America to deal with.
