Tabletop Warhammer?

After six months, I've finally finished the Dark Vengeance boxed set.

I think I might take a break from painting and then maybe start on my Angron model.

Reading this thread is making me more impatient, sadly. I want things to paint!

Can any of you recommend some kind of box/case to store paints, glues and tools in? I'm thinking a stack of modelling supplies on my desk is not going to be the best idea in the world and I have no drawer-space left.

Just get a hobby box or something, depends on how many paints you have, I picked up a storage case from JTF for about £5 and I keep my most used paints in there, glues, few bits and box, things for airbrushing are all in a bigger box that stays at home.

But places like B&Q, The Range, JTF etc just have a look at their tool boxes, storage boxes and see what you like/cost of.

Considering how awesome they look, it is killing my OCD that you haven't painted in the barrels for the guns. Where do the bullets come out?!?!!!?

Ive tried to get myself on dropbox but it doesnt seem to want me to sign up :s I just get the loading screen and then times out lol Ill try to get it tonight, Its just my brother and my mate have everything installed but they cant find anything to download the module lol I made my 1000pt Army last night to give them ago before I collect them (I cant say because he might read the forum hehe)

1500PT TAU list

I just written up a decent TAU 1500pts list, tell me if you guys think its good, i think its pretty impressive for the points

(not got the codex at hand as im at work lol)

HQ

Shas'o with stimulant injection, Shield generator, plasma rifle, Missile pod, Multi tracker

Elites

1st Squad of 3 Battlesuits
All have missile pods & Burst Cannons (all have Multi-trackers)

2nd Squad of 3 Battlesuits
All have twin linked flamers & plasma rifles
Team leader has fail safe

Troops

5 Squads of 12 fire warriors (60 fire warriors in total)

Heavy Support

Hammer head with Rail gun and smart missile system
Sky ray (using for first time)

Exactly comes to 1500pts, Not bad at all right?

Suggestions, comments etc appreciative

Well i went rash and bought some imperial guard 10 years after my last purchase. what is the conventional wisdom on undercoating these days? I used to use skull white or chaos black depending on the model.

undercoat in Chaos black for imperial guard, majority of them are dark colour schemes so using skull white would be a big no no! lol

Halfords £7 for 500ml, GW is £9 for 400ml so yes

Also got white and black primers from halfords both work just as well as the GW stuff

Are they any particular colour that you use, I’ve never been into halfords for paint so I would want to get the right one, I was looking at doing grey rather than black and white.

Ive started my chaos with black undercoat but I might do my Dark Eldar in grey? or should I stick with black?

GW is £9, but then it's £7.60 on Triple Helix so the price difference is barely anything. I'd just go with GW tbh. Army Painter is pretty well liked as well I think, they do quite a few colours.
