Tabletop Warhammer?

Having spent the past hour or so staring at some amazing airbrush work, I now feel completely inadequate and have no motivation to pick up a paintbrush... :o

I would like to see how you go about painting them because I was either going with them or the Wracks, since I have a grotesque already not sure yet ha-ha

Yeah. Especially when people get really ridiculous.

I wouldn't mind having one for basecoating and doing some stencil work, but I don't think I could ever paint a whole model with just an airbrush. I have enough trouble with an ordinary paintbrush! :p

Would like to see the Incubi when you're done. :)

I'd love an airbrush for a smooth basecoat but then the same effect can be achieved with a brush just slightly harder. I really need to find some time to Paint :)

Been thinking of getting back in to warhammer after about 12 years, with my son now he is 10. Same age when I started with 40k. I have been on ebay and the Games workshop looking for a box-set.
Now the one that comes up is the Warhammer 40k Dark Vengeance box set.
I think it looks good but would like to know if anyone has got this one and what they thought.
And if there is any more coming out soon and I should just wait and see.

Thanks :)

IF its 40k you want to get back into and both you and your son like either Dark Angels or Chaos then it is Perfect to buy. Even if you dont collect either then its worth it for the small rulebook alone IMO. then just sell the minitures on Ebay and buy what you really want.

Its the only set for 40k that we will see for years as its quite new

Its really good value for the money. Just bear in mind the rulebook inside is just the rules and not the hardback with all the lore and fluff in it.

If you are wanting to start a Chaos or Darkangel army its a really cost effective way of doing it

Ok thanks for the info. Box sets have come a long way. My last box set was the Warhammer 40k Second Edition set. Which might be still in my parents attic:p

Also is the Limited Edition worth extra cost.
