Tabletop Warhammer?

Ok thanks for the info. Box sets have come a long way. My last box set was the Warhammer 40k Second Edition set. Which might be still in my parents attic:p

Also is the Limited Edition worth extra cost.

you will be blown away by the plastics they are indeed superb.

Have you decided who is taking who? be aware that the boxset slightly favours the dark angels. Just with the models each army gets. Enjoy!

All you get extra in the limited edition is a named Chaplain for Dark Angels.

Been looking at getting some paints. But like the look of a airbrush seen a few vids on youtube and the miniatures look so much better.
Does anyone have much experience in painting with Airbrushes and is the one from Games workshop any good. Or should I go for one like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-...r_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1361351445&sr=1-1

I'm not an expert, Infact i've never even used one but I'd probably stay away from that just because of the price, I'd also stay away from the GW one as there products do not tend to be of the best quality. Look up Lester Bursley from Awesome Paint job, he explains what one he uses... will be more expensive but will be one a pro uses.

Im looking forward to the DE vs DE match because its the two different ways I want to build the army :D if mine works ill work towards that and if JHeaton's army works I will build it more that way ha-ha

:p

I was originally considering not giving the two Warrior units a transport as well, but I thought being able to redeploy quickly if another part of the army was in trouble might prove vital. It did mean I couldn't get in any Scourges, or fit in some Grotesques with some more point shuffling, but overall I feel quite happy with the direction I took. I am certainly not looking forward to dealing with that Talos, though...

Dont buy the GW one....i have one and my mate has one. There junk.

You do have to spend a bit of cash to get good results in this area

I like the Formula P3 brushes I have, but the range is quite limited. I have some Rosemary and Co. ones that I haven't yet used, but they look quite nice, all have good points. Army Painter ones I would stay away from as they seem to flop about all over the place and the brush handles are a really uncomfortable shape... :(
