Tabletop Warhammer?

Read: observe all your tactics. :p

he knows my tactics anyway.

1. Deploy behind a hill
2. Spend 3 turns walking around said hill
3. Lumber forward into the open towards ranks and ranks of guns
4. die miserably before making contact with the enemy

:o:D

Thanks for offering to help out with the rules Shami, I will probably need it

Your stealth plague marine unit saved the day... ;)

'The treehuggers'

Hey..... They were strategically placed and biding there time :)

I laughed at that one too :D

The funny thing was he actually missed with that charge and it Scattered quite a way off and only clipped 1 guy so we had a good laugh about this elite commando that clearly slipped on a stole as he threw that charge... then we remembered to factor in his BS and he actually did more damage :(

huh, I swear I typed Shami not We......Far too tired for this lol, Normally in bed by like 9:30 so that game near killed me, I very nearly conceded at one point so I could go to bed :D

I'm going to try get some pics up of a few bits I have done this afternoon.
This post is more to make sure I do :)

Trying to decide how to base my skaven I'm working on. I have a textured pot but a unit of 40 rats would clear a pot out in no time?

I'm not sure I fancy sand though as I struggle to get it to stay on the base?
Normally would water down some pva.

Really need to get back on with my painting, not done any for like a week now :( need some new brushes too mine are all knackerd as the gf keeps leaving them in the water pot so got bent ends.

Hi guys,

Some painting advice if you will. I've come back to the game after years away. Currently painting a Night Goblin hoard.

I'm onto basing.
Wanting generic warhammer 'mud and grass wasteland' affair.

I've applied modelling sand.
And a good coat of Devlan Mud.

What should I dry brush onto the Devlan?
In terms of 'earthy' paint I have available to me;
xv-88(brown), dheneb stone (foundation), snakebite leather, fortress grey, codex grey, bronzed flesh, elf flesh.

I then plan to add clumps of flock.

Ideas?

For earthy tones I have tended to stick with pva and sand followed by a flat earth brown. wash with a dark ink/black and then drybrush with bleached bone. Next add spots of pve an put down some static grass. add some clumps/tufts to suit.
