Tabletop Warhammer?

Going to pop over to Triple Helix in a bit and see what they have. Probably won't have the models I want in stock but that isn't say I won't buy anything but I need some paints and basing materials anyway!

Will try get some pics up later of my WIP's! Want to complete so of them this weekend!
 
I should be free for a game tomorrow at any point and most of Sunday if anyone is interested?

Be it tourney and just fun :)
 
If anyone is free tonight then I wouldn't mind sneaking in another tournament game, as I wouldn't be available to play a second on Sunday. :)
 
Oh go on then, make it 7:30 so I can have a quick read of the Dark Eldar codex!

Woogie if someone else can play over the weekend then go with them (I'd rather not get too many games ahead!)

Indeed it was. After speaking to them it was clear they weren't making enough to cover the cost of having it open, heating + electric and having to have permanent member of staff downstairs to cover it! They are going to be renting it out as a steady source of guranteed income. They are expanding their range and what they hold on site, plus expanding their terrain range, which by looking what they had looked pretty good :)

Plus if you are wanting to order, they put in any orders they have with GW on the Monday, those usually turn up Wed/Thur then they post them out.
 
Walked in to get a couple of paints this afternoon to add to what I have, may have walked out with a doomwheel after reminding myself I can get a screaming bell online a lot cheaper ...
 
Ok a couple of WIP pictures of my Incubi (not a great camera either :(). The white armoured one is the Klaivex. Please bear in mind this is the first thing I've painted in a decade! Nothing is finished yet (though the white armour is close) I'm really taking my time. White armour still needs a final highlight and some better defined shading. Helmet has only got the base layer, not sure what do do with the eyes/helmet slit yet. Robe is close to finished, probably a little more shading. Black armour has had 2 layers of the red edging, still got more to do and the black hasn't been touched yet. Helmet is close to finished, same with robe.

Not sure what to do about the back wing vane things though. I quite like them white on the white one, black on the black ones or something different?

I might do some freehand symbols on the white armour in red, not sure yet.

Basing will be last.
