Not GW but picked up this the other day to try out 
I've lost faith in my Nids after the spanking Shami gave me
I know I asked a while back but I can't find the post, can anyone recommend a good company who paints for you and also if anyone has actually used one?
Bugmans was amazing, its the first time we have been to Nottingham and I was amazed at the place, the gaming area looked great, gave me the desire to play 40k! Really should learn the rules, only ever been a player of the smaller games such as Necromunda and Gorkamorka

My army looks good but I built in some problems in my army through my changes from last time, really not happy with it at he mo but I may just be overreacting be ause Shami was perfectly setup for my army. (The cheating git!

I looked at those X-Wing miniatures, they look good!
I think you'll be fine Newts, you just lacked things that could hurt vehicles and most of my army have Tesla weapons which are devastating against Hordes (they'll be far less effective against Woogie's 3+ FNP Plague Marines :/) Tonight should be interesting, it really is irresistible offence against a strong defence.
A chance for Woogie to learn from the last battle and get some revenge? Or simply an encore?

You have more anti vehicle than most, Leman Russ tanks are just incredibly tough.
You have 3 Missile Launchers (can penetrate AV13 on a 6)
2 Autocannons (Better for AV10-12)
2 Meltaguns (Will kill anything with ease if you don't just hide them in a forest
)
6 Plasma Guns (Great against AV 10-12)
And I can't remember what Typhus can do against vehicles, one of his powers can definitely hurt them.

AV14 is always a struggle especially in smaller point games. Really you're best bet is melta and monstrous creatures up close if you can't get to side/rear armour. Even Lascannons only penetrate on a 6.
Not GW but picked up this the other day to try out
I've recently bought the X-Wing game as well. Looking forward to trying it out.
(Typical Fantasy Flight game though - a million counters!)

Looks like it's quite a quick playing game. It comes with plenty of counters, but from reading through the rules and watching some demo games it seems you don't use them in abundance.
Uploaded some resized pictures from my visit to Warhammer World just after games day last year
there are about 200 here, apologies for the quality of them, they were taken with a normal camera* and most were behind glass (I'm also a terrible photographer) so I was alternating between flash on and flash off for a lot of the time.
One of my favourites was IIRC a guest display from one of the staff.
And I love the Eldar Titans
I think between Games Day and Warhammer World I took about 500 pics.
*I say normal, it was a Panasonic TZ7 which is a lovely little camera and makes up a lot for me being terrible with pictures

I've got a brass scorpion I treated myself to a couple of years back sat in a really useful box waiting for me to gain the courage, and time/energy to make a start on it

Wouldn't want to risk angering the Machine God by doing a sloppy job!
I'm not worried about the machine gods, I'm more worried about angering the khornite daemons in the Chaos stuff.
Having said that, I think I probably make enough sacrifices to them whilst working on my models to be safe...(I keep a box of plasters in the drawer up from my spare blades).
