Tabletop Warhammer?

Yeah that was a good article (and it worked well in the battle report)

I've tried to bring Typhus special horse statue in as house rules but everyone thinks I'm joking :(

I've noticed there's now a three way deployment setup built into Vassal 6th edition. We can totally make a scenario out of that. Something like 3 rivals meeting and it all breaks down. Have to start with one HQ and retinue each in the centre (would probably work best with 3 armies from the same list, 3 Ork Clans, 3 Chaos Warbands, 3 Dark Eldar Kabals or something like that)

Decided as I work through my Emperor's Children I need to invest in an airbrush. I doubt ill end up using it on this army but I really want to start working on Tau very soon (Love the suits especially the new Broadsides and the Riptide). I was wondering if this worth it on ebay. I tried the GW one with the cans but it was just horrible.

Bedroom. >.>

Got one of these guys and it's surprisingly effective. I just put some newspaper down on the desk under it, pop the hose out of the window and go for it. Dust masks are still necessary though. :)

Yeah. I'm fortunate that I have a large desk right next to the window that I can easily set all of this up on; since we converted the garage into another bedroom, the only other option would have been outside, and the weather hasn't exactly been nice lately...

That's pretty much the same as the set I got, but I got a tank with mine. It's a bit more expensive but it means you get a very consistent flow of air when you're using it, so definitely worth it.

This is available from the same seller for not much more: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AS-186-Co...Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item2eb4bff640

Cheers. Ill grab that one sometime in the next week or so. Probably just gonna use it for basecoating really at least to begin with

That's mainly what I've been doing. I find myself mostly just using the 0.2mm one at the moment, for some reason, but it does the trick.

Newts, are we on for Friday?

You should join us on Vassal at some point, the joys of playing an army you don't own :)

I'd only get jelous that i dont have one :( My father in law used to have a shop selling and painting all kinds of things from 40k to civil war figures but he shut down and went bankrupt and says painting them for me would bring back bad memories. An easy cop out not to do it for me lol

Reading the codex more, I'm struggling to see how Dark Eldar could cope against the new Tau. the ability to take awy their cover saves (that includes jink saves for skimmers!) and able to infiltrate Kroot would just be devestating, especially if the Tau player gets the first turn.
