Tabletop Warhammer?

I have one but never really use it. I always just tend to hold the base at some angle.
Can't say it's any better/worse than using a handle.
 
Been playing kill team with my boy during the year, what was my first step back into the hobby last Xmas.

Currently thinking about getting back into the old world. Wish I never sold my chaos warriors back in the day. Think about getting the warriors of chaos battalion box to get going again, then buying some the AOS slaves to darkness models and putting them on squares based as the dynamic posses are awesome.

At the last count I had 20 of them, so I don't need to remove the mini to paint the next one when I am batch painting.

Cheaper than buying the GW handles which I only have one small one and also the larger painting handle.

Am doing the magazine combat patrol atm and painting as I go along, enjoying it. During the pandemic I accidentally an entire Sisters of Battle army which is unpainted.
 
Love the Eldar stuff.

The Krieg stuff is cool too, just there is no chance of me ever having an army of that, I nearly started with the space elves.

Playing against Drukhari this weekend which will be a first. Only a small 1000pt game though as I'm going over to play other games.

Love the grey, I did a slap chop grey scheme but no where near as good as these!

Care to spill the beans on the paints and process?

It’s airbrushed AK lead grey, grey-blue then pale blue. Covered in streaking grime and most of it cleared off.

Very pleased with this one. These might be the last batch of Space wolves I paint since there might be refresh late summer. Also would like to improve as a painter so moving away from Space marines will help.



 
Errhh doing up the bedroom so emptying the wardrobe and a chest thing and have come across my pile of shame lol

Lumineth Relm lords army box, Cursed City, Dominion and one I actually forgot about. Red harvest war cry box!! It has some sweet warbands that’s useable for Slaves!!!
 
I thought I cancelled my magazine subscription but another four issues have just appeared. Although at least I've got five more terminators I guess.
I tried the Renegade raiders detachment rule today when I played tyranids it worked out quite well.
