Tabletop Warhammer?

After the talk of ebay bargains I found this:

up for £22. Eventually it sold for 46, but ebay's Place bid button stopped working right before I was about to place a bid near the end

Collection only was the thing keeping the price down I think, but I'm due to be driving past there soon so would have been fine. Doh.

By the way, what do you guys do for base decoration? I've just ordered a bag of 500 miniature bricks (as in house bricks) to create rubble piles on the bases going to have the sentinel half standing on be rubble, half on Tarmac.

I tend to keep the sprus and cut them up into little bricks I have my Hell Brute with rubble. I used a lot of earthshade ink and brybrushed shades of grey.

I've got some imperial guard snipers on the way though, and a tyranid Lictor! I just paint for decoration tbh, it all goes in my games room along my Star Wars Lego and Halo gear

It goes through phases, it is the summer hols so some may have other things to do or be away, who knows. I'm sure it will pick up again at some point.

Just a brief update. Done lots of detail to the metal texture, haven't touched any of the green yet. Will be toning down the red parts on the gun too
