Taiwan and China thread.

The second part. Morally wise its also sketchy considering most of what we wear and products we use come from China.

If China couldn't see a competitive advantage of learning Western ways of flying then they would not be paying "large" sums of money to learn it.

As far as I'm concerned that is treason and the fact that it's not explicitly illegal for these people to train adversaries is beyond a joke. The law should change ASAP and any further help should result in proscription.

Working with allies air forces is one thing but this is outrageous. WTF are they thinking? Chinese pilots might not end up engaged with British pilots but they likely will with pilots of our allies, either the US or Taiwan. Our armed forces doctrine should be covered by some form of legislation and teaching to our adversaries should be illegal.

What do Taiwanese people want anyway?

I know a Taiwanese guy and he "likes" China, does business with Chinese and has Chinese friends.

China will likely invade via the back door IMO.
I know several Taiwanese and they want nothing to do with China, they see themselves as a open and free country like South Korea

The amount of people on twitter who have no problem with our ex military training China's military is actually slightly shocking. They keep saying whats the problem we aren't at war with China?:rolleyes: It really is amazing how short sighted some people are.

Correct, legally they appear to have done nothing wrong, but morally they have sold both themselves and the military out.

China are an adversary, by training the Chinese they are directly responsible for the future death of British and American pilots.
sounds like a lot of crap... who trained al Qaeda ? ISIS?

what was that country which sends its officers to be trained in the UK and then after they are used to shoot protestors?

oh wait my bad it's only morally wrong when our enemies do it

And now they're dragging people off of our streets, into consulate grounds and assaulting them.

Though they shouldn't have been beating him like that - the video appears to show he entered the grounds not being dragged into them (though the whole thing is a bit of a scrum).
