Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

Hellavator complete - needs a little work though, there is a giant tank in hell filling with water (there was A LOT of water on the way). So be careful if you decide to go down. Once the water has finished emptying out into the tank (will probably need to make this bigger later today) I will put in more lights/platforms. Will also be making it wider. Glad they reduced the spawn of hell creatures.
 
The Eye of Cthulhu has been stomped by me and Maxi so we now have a Dryad. If anyone feels left out I've got 3 Suspicious Eyes (stupid gold chests) so we can have more boss fights tonight if people wanted :p

Can people please stop bringing stuff in... we now have an Arms Dealer because someone transferred a Flintlock Pistol to there character.
 
Just built an awesome house called " high level house " just left of spawn :D, it's surrounded by a moat and lower level players need to go through the tunnel underneath!. Pretty neat design :), though i keep getting killed with no armour and low health :(
 
My house is looking rather scary now :(

Can I have the password also? I've only ever played the singleplayer, then stopped to wait for this update. Didn't want to get used to the old ways and hate the "new" more difficult game. :D
 
Ok so I've wimped out. Moved myself over to a softcore character.

I think I could do mediumcore on a single player map but without anywhere secure to store a secondary set of eq and fact someone may stumble across all my dropped stuff before I make it back means I'm taking the easy option for now :)

I found a magic mirror earlier then realised I had no mana when I came to use it while half lost down a hole :o
 
Just created my castle it's full of dangerous spikes :D, so even us low level players have to have full health and just run for it!.

What is it with building these massive forts right where people need to walk.

I've half a mind to drill a passage straight through that abomination of yours for making me use that tediously slow zigzag tunnel underneath!

That's nice, so you would destroy peoples hard work because you are so lazy?. I built a tunnel right underneath it and straight out into the open. But looking at you digging earlier you carried on digging the tunnel even further, bit hypocritical no?

Building huge castles, forts and houses is a part of the game! :(
