Can't believe I just spent my entire weekend playing this game. Apologies to people I was meant to get in contact with :/

Wow. The steam stats were pretty insane in regards to number of people playing but it's really amusing that it has out-sold The Witcher 2 :p
 
I can see why about playing, it's extremely addictive with friends as was seen by the hours i spent playing it. At one point it was 10pm then it was 3am!, i'd go for dinner and come straight back to it. Haven't done that since i was a kid playing Dragons Breath :p

Yeah. Pretty much the same here. On Sunday I logged in 'for 10 minutes' not long after breakfast. Then it was 8pm ;(

Did you set up the server in the end? I never got any info about it :mad:

I was waiting to Paypal you some money but you were too engrossed I think.

Yeah. Sorry about that.

No need to paypal me any cash. I ended up purchasing the game again anyhow.

I'm not sure exactly when I'll open up the server. I may need to do a map restart first as it's currently filled with our attempts at stuff.
 
I was skeptical about this game at first.

I'm exactly the same as FT, my weekend jsut disappeared, I'd like it back please Terraria.

Can you run 2 servers if you had another account? So your own account, server account 1 and server account 2?

The reason I ask is cos I got another copy also, so we could have:
Server 1 - Build and explore (Same as a normal server)
Server 2 - OcUK PvP (Build 2 bases on either side, 1 red and 1 blue and have PvP wars/tornaments)

One world is probably enough, if we build a large dedicated PVP arena :)

The thought of 8bit pvp is making me weak at the knees :D
 
I havent a clue what this game is about but people seem to be loving it.
Anyone care to point me to a newbie guide and a decent server to play on?

Are the Hamatchi server details I read earlier in the thread still working?
 
I don't really get it to be honest. I bought it thinking this will be awesome, but it just isn't...

I will admit though, the exploring and the killing stuff is pretty fun, even if the building stuff isn't
