True, the reason behind it though is just due to the server size, so if people want to PvP but there's too many people and not everyone could get in, they have another server they can go play on.
 
I'm ANGRY :mad::mad::mad::mad:

40 Damage Sword, Pressed ESC to go into the chest and i got attacked by a beast. As i went to attack it decided to chuck my powerful weapon into the lava because i was still in esc mode. Again the next day, i was down in the caverns and i couldn't pick any obsidian up. So i chucked stone out and it auto picked up dirt. Chucked the dirt out, swapped some things over namely my 3 chain hooks and it threw it into the lava.

It's the two worst parts of the game, auto picking up rubbish you don't need so when you swap items a bunch of dirt flies into to fill that empty box. And chucking your best items away when you are in esc mode just because you went to attack

HALP! I made a hamachi server so me and some mates could play. Worked fine and we played for abit, but now I just want to make a LAN server for me and my housemate, but I can't connect with the usual IP I use (My machines IP)!? I have closed hamachi, and rebooted, but can't connect.

What gives?

EDIT: The hamachi IP works even when hamachis running? and then it loses connection straight away

OK Fixed it, had to disabl;e hacmahi in network neighbour hood thing

Lol I can feel your pain but what I did was all my fault.

1 stick of dynamite, didn't realise it was selected, went to knock out a block in home with pick axe, watched dynamite fly from my man....................few seconds later, our house is 50% smaller. Was funny and annoying.
 
Well a few hours in and I cant seem to find the fun in the game.
Been playing on the server in this thread and it would appear the map has been mined out.
Im struggling to find or make anything due to lack of resources.

Doesn't help that there is two others on the server with far better health, armour and toys than me.

I was like that. It made me jealous and so I played the game more. You are right though it would appear to be quite hard for a beginner on this map now.

In other news, I bought a minishark. It's pretty cool, could make a star cannon out of it. :p

What sword is that? Never seen a 40 damage sword before, the Hellstone great sword is the highest, and that's only 34.
 
To be fair the map is massive and only the soul chambers have been snacked up. There's literally hundreds of chests on the map with special items etc. It's also easy enough to switch to a new map as your inventory copies across so as long as everyone empties their piggy banks first it'll be fine

When they patch in proper dedicated servers and network support, and we start a new OcUK server, I'll be starting a fresh character - I'll show you the ropes from scratch if you'd like :)
