Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

Anyone playing this?

I've started a TShock Terraria server on a small map, anyone is welcome to come and play. Preferably with a new character. There's nothing built at the moment.

Server: 3xist.com
Port: 7777
Password: ocuk

Yes, I have been playing it a lot recently. 70 hours on my character so far. Having difficulty killing the twins though :(

If I recall, Clockwork Assault Rifle (or Megashark if you've got it) and Crystal Bullets. They inflict massive damage to the Twins.

Well pysisks not back yet. Wonder if hes realised its been 9 days? Probably still playing.

:D

Yes I have been using the clockwork assault rifle with crystal bullets, buffs like iron skin, health regen and gravitation potion. I'm probably just rubbish at the required tactic of floating up and down and dodging. Brilliant game though. Much better after the 1.1 update.

What we did on the server was to create a long walkway of wooden platforms as an arena and make a house for the nurse way above the centre. That way with Hermes Boots and Wings you could sprint and dodge quite easily and if things got a little too rough you could go a bit further off to one side and teleport back with the Magic Mirror, quickly heal up at the nurse and drop back down into the arena.

Its mostly about the arena really. The better designed your arena the easier it'll be to avoid damage and keep the enemy in a place you can deal damage.

That brings back memories. We did have a good week didnt we :p

Out of interest, do a lot of people from here use the linktart mumble for this?

It's not a completely private mumble but I don't normally advertise the details that much... so it's a bit weird that the Terraria channel often has 6-8 people in it (that I don't recognise) :)

He didn't exactly give the game a lot of updates though?, it was as if the money went to his head and thought i've got my cash i'll stop soon. Haven't played the game in ages

Plus the delays between each release

Its a £6 indie game made by 3-4 people. It got about 10 updates over the course of what, 9 months?

Tbh I would have paid for the update that added hardmode stuff.
