Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

For Hamachi issues!

1) Download http://www.oldversion.com/download_Hamachi_1.0.2.3.html
Do not download the new versions, Most of the time it won't connect, it doesn't work on some routers and also it installs a service which is always on .

2) Install Hamachi, make sure it's accepted in your firewall and join network Terraria Planet, note the Capital T and P use the password terraria.

3) Load game, Multiplayer(if the server is up)

Doesn't work for me.

I connect to the server, but as soon as I walk 1 step I get disconnected, I also cannot ping anyone on the Hamachi players list, I've run through the FAQ and troubleshooting, didn't fix anything what-so-ever. I don't have any issues with getting Hamachi running, connecting to the Hamachi server or whatever else, I just cannot ping anyone.
I'm sure you don't NEED Hamachi to play multiplayer, lots of other servers work fine without it, it's just making it so some people can't connect.

I got the full set of meteor armour and weapons last night, from the Hamaxe, to the gun. I had a meteor crash site with over 500 meteor blocks :eek: I was mining for freaking ages to get them all. (You can see a screenshot of how big the crash site was on my profile: ) www.steamcommunity.com/id/Aedus

Moving on to shadow armour now :cool:
 
I never realised the extent of the items available till I bought it. Theres loads of diff weapons, and arrow types and stuff. Can't wait to sit down properly and play!
 
Got it at 3am this morn, already it says 9 hours played.. I don't usually game like this, I lose interest within an hour on most games and come back to them later, but this has been near contant.

Time is really flying and i've got 3200 word essay to do for next fri..

This game is awesome.

lol, all of my meteors have been in the most hellish places.

One was under a huge ocean, and the other two were in corruption zones...

What a pain, I saw someone who had theirs hit a floating island, that has to be the worst luck :o

In corruption zones (Purple floor) you have pits, at the bottom of the pits you sometimes get these dark orbs. Get some Dynamite and blow through the floor/orb to destroy it (You need a Nightmare pickaxe to break through the stone without Dynamite), and you'll get a random item and a 50% spawn meteor chance. Also after killing 3 orbs, it summons a big nasty :eek:

Ive been playing coop with some mates for the past couple of days and we have barely scratched the surface of the game, we managed to explore the whole right hand side right to the edge of the map, that was certainly interesting.

Now were working our way underground to get some better armour and weapons to tackle a dungeon.

It's harder since you HAVE to be on Steam to do so. I know FT would do it if there was some way to make a dedi server. Maybe we could chip in £1 each for him to get a copy on a seperate Steam account on a seperate computer, which he could keep running? Just a thought.

If not I may be able to run it using VMware, running Vista in my Windows 7 OS, and have vista hosting the server with my own normal Steam account being able to do what it likes.

Yup. That's the problem really :/

If anyone does feel like doing that then I'll happily set up a server. I created one for the brink dedi when testing a while back so if anyone wants to gift a spare copy the account is called "ocukbrinkdedi" :)
