Far far to expensive (and the cars are quite wide, which makes life difficult!)Why not a used ev?
I-pace have some great offerings although looks are a bit...hmm. lovely front, weird rear quarter.

you think that would be coal to Newcastle ? Elon - " this is how a luxury ev should be executed " .... not sure, but think I'd read he already has a Jag in his harem.
Slightly off-topic, but a mate of mine recently bought a Tesla and honestly I think it's a bit crap from a value perspective.
Don't get me wrong, it's quick off the mark and the infrastructure around here for charging has improved immensely, but for a 35k + vehicle? It looks and feels cheap to me, especially the interior.
Maybe it's just me, but if I was spending that sort of money I'd want a more premium feel.
Indeed, it's certainly no BMW, Volvo or Mercedes that's for sure but its significantly cheaper also.Even suggesting a Tesla is luxury car is your first error.
I'd agree with you if it wasn't priced in line with Ford, Kia, VW, etc. but it is and its on par with what you'd get from those manufacturers. I'm not sure what you are expecting for the money but new cars are just expensive.

I’ve not actually commented on the advert because there is nothing to talk about. Can you get back to talking about the advert for cars that don’t yet exist? I’ve got a seat at the day after post mortem in Miami so I’ll be taking all the notes, especially jpauls insights…
You're going to?Something like a Cupra born knocks the socks off a model 3. Pre facelift anyway.

I find the general discourse about or more amusing than anything else, of the objective was to get people talking about Jaguar, it worked.
The issue as I see it is there now seems to be a cohort of people wanting the brand to fail which is not great. That said, if the cars decent, they’ll soon change their tune.
I’m not sold on the revised branding, it’s quite a departure from the status quo but it might make sense on the new car. I’m leaving an open mind on that one.
I take it iJustine and that comedian who can’t drive (Jack Whitehall?) are not being rolled out for this one?
Are you on crack?I think he's a zoomer .. maybe he's going to dec2 launch ? but how should they have replied to Musk ? or could they still
Are you on crack?
Why would any serious company ‘respond’ to a billionaire internet troll who will just unleash his loyal goons on your social media feed?
You're going to?
the truth of it is these days £35k is not premium car price for a new car. .. it's middle of the road and whilst the finishing may not be premium the features in Tesla's are fairly high end.Slightly off-topic, but a mate of mine recently bought a Tesla and honestly I think it's a bit crap from a value perspective.

really ? I didn't realise the FPace was that affordable. that is a lot of car for your cash.At launch you could get into an F pace just under 40k to be fair. And this £35k new model 3?! When did that ever happen in the UK?! I think 39995 was lowest?
