Tevez hands in transfer request

Well I'm not so that's wrong.
You find that hilarious? Wow you have a bad sense of humor.
Put down? FM isn't a physical object you know? I am in the real world, the fact is that Tevez probably doesnt want to be here so whats wrong with saying he should go in the reserves? If he doesn't want to play for us why should we act as if nothings happen and keep playing him. Fact is no one is bigger than the team and like with Bellamy as much as I want to keep him because of how good he is if he is sacrificed then so be it.

Stop. Right. There.

G|mp will crush you. It's not wroth it.

What he's said has been spot on, no offence Biz but the amount of times we've had debates and you show how fickle you are. No offence :)

Tevez has said for ages he wants to go home, finally had enough.

Just shows what a tin pot club they really are. All the money in the world and they still can't hold onto their best players.

This seems to be laughable, Barca lost their best striker, Inter lost their best striker(but got a better one), Arsenal lost Henry, Pires, etc, etc, Utd lost Ronaldo, Real Madrid Lost Snjeider and Spurs, spurs lose everyone eventually(and by eventually I mean a few years max).

Losing players doesn't mean anything. Ronaldo is from Portugal, he wants to play essentially at home, his mum and his kid go to every game, did they do that at Utd. people leave, people want to try other leagues, people want to live somewhere that suits them, and people often want to live near friends and family(or without the utterly awful weather). Thats life, you have literally no point.

RSC, Adebayor, Johnson, Lescott..........how many more do you want?

This is rich coming from a Stockport based club.

Unfortunately you both are making a different argument completely, all those players are being PUSHED out for not being good enough. Its not Tevez, by FAR their top scorer, or Ronaldo, or Zlatan or Snjeider or anyone else forcing a move because they want to go to BETTER clubs. They are average players(crap in SWP's case) that want to go to WORSE clubs to get more games.

Sorry but COMPLETELY different situation and I have no idea why you're arguing them as one and the same thing, Robinho's record for City was much better than any of those being mentioned, before injury he was fantastic and while injured the whole country seemed to turn against him, hounding his lack of tracking back(like every other striker in the world of course) and his lack of scoring(when not playing) or his lack of wanting to play in the cold, despite, you know scoring in December and I believe January before he got injured.

He left because he was treated like crap by fans and press alike, largely because if a player comes from Brazil we pretend they won't tackle or play in cold weather, no matter what the reality of the situation was. He played great at Santos, great at AC and was great preinjury/with form at City.

Bellamy is the only person in a slightly similar situation he was playing as well and as often as Tevez does now, but was dropped due to manager hating him, at which point he did the usual Bellamy and forced his way out.

None of the players you've listed would be even slightly missed at City.

As for Tevez, its hard to ignore the fact that he misses his kids and wants to go home, could he be doing a Rooney and going for a bigger contract, who knows. Would you think if you got a bigger longer term contract you might be able to persuade that crazy wife of yours to bring the kids and live in the UK and solve all the problems, maybe.

Do we have a clue if Tevez is telling the truth or going for a better contract, not in the slightest, why assume the worst, maybe its just to make Utd fans feel better about Rooney and hoping theres someone more mercenary in the league, there probably isn't.

chose to sell is not the same as lost.

I would love to know how they would do without Tevez week in week out. Yes I know they won yesterday but there seems to be major problems in the ranks at city at the momnet.
To many pampered overpaid players.
Hope the manager gets on top of things.

Just been statement on SSN. He said "I've played my last game for Manchester City".

Well that would just be the greatest shame to end an otherwise great time (in the fans eyes at least) at City. I hope in that case he can afford to buy out his contract, because I would be very surprised if he remains City's highest paid player in the reserves. Sounds like it's example time.

I said numerous times on here, Tevez will put in a lot of effort in the 1st year and then sulk in the 2nd - Im not surprised in the slightest this has happened he doesnt have the stomach for a fight (in the many ways that can be applicable)

I'm revelling in the fact all the City fans were shouting about a Rooney/Tevez partnership up front a couple of months back, now a 20 year old with mental issues is their only hope :D

I really do hope City make him see out the rest of his contract and sit him in the reserves for the rest of it.

Always trust Fergie ;)

From Rodney Marsh on 5 Live just now, after speaking to a great reliable source as he called them earlier on.

If true then that is an insane amount of money!

He's not, he gets about £135k a week. Rooney is the highest paid player in england currently.

sadly they probably can't afford to :/

I assume this means his agent is confident of getting a move away in January sorted out? As he can't really retire like some have suggested when he has the contract to play out.

I will say that the thing that stops me from immediately thinking, "Tevez is just taking a huff, this is too far..etc etc", is the fact there have been other murmurings from players like Adam Johnson and others about Mancini.

Maybe it is Tevez just being mental but I can't imagine Mancini is perfect in this either.
