You starting a HST cycle mate? First low weight 15 rep day?

Not that I'm aware of, I just wanted to do high reps low weights full body (hence low volume) on the first few weeks.

I'll look into it though - but I'm more strength focused to be honest but don't want to start going heavy until I get myself back into it. :)

I used to get them from Sainsubrys (the organic ones) but now I get them from a local health food store which is pretty good. Per pitta there's about 25g of carbs and 10g of protein so not bad really. The rest tends to be filled with spinach, chicken/ham/beef/tuna/eggs etc... to bursting. It makes a 40g protein meal. :)

They're more of a "finishing" exercise - triceps need weight and volume, extensions tend to be relatively light. Cable pull downs are ok, but dips and CGBP are the big mass and strength builders for triceps.

True, leaning forward so your elbows are making more of a right angle emphasises the chest more (though still hits the tris), make sure you keep vertical, good way of doing that is looking up.

A good alternative is to do close hand press ups, with someone putting some plates on top of you.

You can sprinkle water on them, and put them in the oven for 5 mins but it's a bit of a convoluted way of doing things. Toasting them literally for about 40s is all you need to get them warm enough to open to separate.

As for not liking foods, that's why diets are so important and where people stumble and rely on supps. Nutrition from foods adds a lot to the benefits you get from mere supplements - it's where a lot of people fail in their quests, fussiness over foods.

Freefaller - I recall you targetting a 50kg strength increase combined across your big 3, how did ya get on? Being you i have no doubt you achieved this and more :)

Hey,

I've had a break from big heavy stuff and have just been maintaining, and as a result cutting a bit, and had a 2 weeks holiday, so I'm a little behind. I'd love to say I'm going to get to 650kg by the end of the year but I doubt it... we'll see. I will hit 650kg at some point in time though! :)

Oh I wasn't purposefully cutting, I was just sustaining what I had, and going on holiday necessarily means that I cut a bit! :p

Leaned up lots, and understandably lost some strength, but that's not a big deal, it'll come back.

Just carb cycled a bit more, and yes, still eating a fair bit, but I've got a big appetite in general! ;)

It was nice to be able to have a few beers on holiday and not worry about diet.
