Would just like to say……

@BennyC: That shoulder routine broke me. I wanted to throw up before I even got on to my shrugs and was prepared to leave without doing them, thinking I’d done enough. But I sucked it up and did the rows as well. Was quite amusing, I normally do Arnold Presses with 18kg dumbbells and Upright Rows with 30kg barbell, but when I was doing my supetset, all I could manage was 10kg arnies, and 20kg barbell, and god LORD was the last set horrifically torturous! Excellent routine mate, I’d recommend it to others :)

@Everyone who’s recommend dips: Be it for triceps or when leaning forwards to hit the pecs, I think I’ve fallen in love with dips. Gaining confidence with them and think they’re a great exercise to watch for improvements in. I use an assisted machine as I’m quite weak and pathetic. Did 4 sets on Wednesday, doing 10 reps for 30kg, 25g and 20kg. Then managed to squeeze out 6 reps at 15kg. Reckon I could hit BW for reps by new year? :D

Glad you enjoyed it mate. ;)

Should be able to feel it afterwards by just holding your arms out parralell to the ground and then squeezing your shoulders. If that doesn't hurt then you've got to try harder!

Since doing my lateral raises seated and with different technique I've seen a quick improvement in shape and size of the lateral head. Also get clearer seperation during the exercise too.

Well...no joy on the physio yet...But on a side note i've bee prescribed a type of Roid, which is a worrying fact :p

Although naturally theres different types

What was the routine - I have shoulders tonight and fancy a change :)

At the moment im cuttting, and finding it really hard. I am doing around 1700 calories a day with 30 minutes hiit training prior to doing weights, im cutting. Just expected the results to be quicker, im bloody starving all the time. But i am trying to keep protein high, to reduce lean muscle loss.

Have you eased yourself into it or just cut your calories with immediate effect?

30 minutes HIIT is too long, recommended is a 20 minute session.

The routine will be several pages back by now unless Monkee wants to retype it for you :)

I found full body routines(push/pull) much easier when cutting and also more effective for aiding fat loss.

Id to the cardio after the weights. If you are cutting and using loads of energy for hiit you will not be as effective in the weights. Also, you will be more liable to have an accident imo.

falling off of a piece of cardio equipment is better than having a weight falling on you ;)

Possibly your problem, switch it to after your weights routine. Although tbh HIIT isn't recommended for the same session as lifting.

EDIT:I'm rather slow :p

Could you angle an electric fan heater over it?

Would take ages I bet and also warm up the garage. I like the garage being rather cold :D

I know, need to get some scaffold bars and use as barbells. then i can boil a kettle and pour into tube and close off ends!

Oh lordy...Keep the bars in the house? :p

The only HIIT I did after weights during my cut was 1 or 2 rounds of Tabata occasionally.

HIIT, circuits & complexes were usually done every other day with push/pull rolling in between.

Morba: set your powercage up in the living with with a scaffold plank across the catches and watch your wifes face as she see her new 'coffee table' :D

Haha that would be excellent :D

She's also trying to get me to put the static bike into the garage. That aint happening though! I do at least 30km most nights and the only way I can do it is in front of a tv!
