Most likely you have tight pecs because everyone has tight pecs.guys any idea on the shoulder pain while doing wide grip pull ups/lat pull downs? its only my left shoulder.
what happens is as soon as i lower my body on pull up there's something pooping inside my left delt/shoulder its as if a muscle tissue gets compressed between bits of other muscles? and its really painful and genuinely kills my pull-ups/lat pull downs in general.
any ideas? not asking for medical advice just maybe some rolling/stretching exercises that could help?

It's not massively important to know which part you're slowly pulling apart like wet tissue, as long as you stop doing it. Your pecs need myofascial release and stretching, and you need to start performing all of your pushing and pulling movements with your shoulder back in it's socket.
