*** The 2013 Gym Rats Thread ***

Ahh rest day today - legs need to recover still from Monday, had my measurements in the gym - down to 15% BF now (5% to go then bulking time).

22% to 15% in 3 months looking at the previous printouts from the gym, a bit slow but then again I'm not perfect with my diet (going out with friends + beer).

15 to 10% will be a massive job and a complete waste of time.. :o
 
not realising your doing 3x8 instead of 5x5, i assume you dont use a notebook? might be an idea to invest in one, especially to keep track of the weight your lifting, if you can not remember your doing 5x5 i would be suprised if you could remeber what weight your supposed to be lifting ;)

10% bf target is actually quite low, i would sugguest getting some pics up in the pics thread and see what the collective bro's have to say about keeping on cutting or starting a clean bulk now.
 
Haha, tempted - but want to get to get down to a nice low BF% before bulking - 65+lb's down so far may as well finish off the job before eating like a horse! - I'll get some pics up in a few weeks once I hit 12% & decide from there (10% or 12% was my target).

It's taken me 18months so a few more weeks shouldn't hurt (in for the long game).

the lower you go the slower it gets.... IMO 12% is the SWEET spot.. im around 15-16 at a guess..

Yeah, you are probably right - I'll see how 12% looks in a few weeks & start bulking then if I'm pleased with it as a finishing point of the diet.

Sad I know, but I'd like to see all my abs at least once before I start bulking haha.
 
Dude i havent been able to go for 2 week! and cannot for another with financial trouble while being on holiday - I wouldnt usually miss it until i joined SA and started taking it serious. Im pineing for it now!

Know them feels, done something to my wrist and trained through it (idiot!) now totally knackert and got a doctors appointment tomorrow.

All cardio for a while! :/

Just had a strong sesh on the back and bis! Feeling well better now! :D
 
I must check my bf tbh, I've never checked. I guess I'm pretty damn slim, I've never been fat in my life. Probably 10-15% most places, 15-20% on the tummy.
 
No no I was serious.

Do you squat with your thumb over or around the bar? OR is it just pressure hurting it at the moment?
