*** The 2014 Gym Rats Thread ***

Point taken.

However I was referring to the reduction in inflammation, rather than masking of pain.

If squats cause you problem then you need to switch to something kinder on your knees. That’s exactly what I did.

In for resolutions. 2014 will be the year I do a long-term, proper bulk, and get over my ex-fatty fear of gaining everything I lost.

Will also finish saving and go through with gyno surgery so I can actually have pecs/a masculine chest, instead of bewbs (OUT for 4-6 weeks of no lifting post-op :(, but in the long run it'll be worth it).

There is an MWOD video floating around that asks the question of 'Do you think the body's natural response of inflammation is a mistake?' an interesting watch :)

You doing that privately sonam?

Yes, as they wouldn't do it on the NHS even with a sob story I imagine, and even if they did, I wouldn't trust the surgeon. I thought about going to Poland etc as some do, however
a) I'd rather have someone 1337 do a great job and get it right first time - that Dr. Levick fellow in Birmingham looks awesome, he had gyno himself, does about 40+ men a year, is a bit of a dab hand at it, and his method of going in via the armpit results in less potential visible scars and less external healing required too.
b) aftercare is easier if I need to go back.

Not cheap at all (think surgery alone is a little under £4k) but no amount of dieting will get rid of glandular tissue and it's something that's bothered me for 15+ years, and now I can see abs etc it's depressing I still have moobs rather than pecs - only one way to correct...

Do they remove the glands so it won't come back?
