*** The 2014 Gym Rats Thread ***

Yes, they shouldn't come back as gland/glandular tissue is removed (as well as regular fat).

It could crop up again as a side effect of riding bicycles if you nomsayin, but that's not something I plan on doing.

Not the best depth in the world (although the angle makes it look worse), but a nice PB considering how ropey my adductors felt.

No need to wait. No one will laugh if you are worried about that. What are you currently at? Good time to document beginner progress adding the 2.5/5 a session

This.

Your log will be commented on and constructively criticised by people who know 100x more than you or I. What's more, it will be satisfying to look back at this start point and smile.

Any banter will be in good spirits ;)

A scarf? Bro pls.

Tube has been located and scarf had be relieved of all duties :o

I'm using it for elbows mainly - any advice on how long and often to do this would be great. Today I probably did it for about 5 mins on each elbow. Might stretch it to 10?

Having started lifting weights and taking my general fitness outside of playing sport serious in the last two months or so of 2013 I am very keen to continue this into 2014.
I am following the 5x5 workout structure.
Here is my results of the last four weeks I recorded; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjOvze34yPKxdDFrOXYtZTNEWjcySENvdXcyNHp0YkE&usp=sharing

Unfortunately I am at home for christmas from uni so I don't have access to a proper gym but I have been doing what I can. Will start up proper training again when I get back on the 18th Jan.

It doesn't look like you're following the linear progression. Spending 2 weeks squatting the same weight and then only increasing 5kg per week is not SL 5x5.
