OHP is in my mind one of the slowest moving most difficult common lifts to get the big numbers up on, 55kg is still nothing to be sniffed at roughly the bodyweight of a non chunky woman or a skinny jean wearing man child.
Just in case you ever get the urge to OHP some people.

55? I'm a jealous skinny jean wearing man child clearly

I benched twice today - what do I win? More importantly though - squats are starting to be a struggle on walk back, more so than the actual squat. Is that just confidence related?

Possibly... Unless you are trying to moon walk or something (which would be very cool, btw).

Try heavy walkouts by loading the bar up to 1RM weight and see how you feel. Then try heavier. Xiaojun Lu uses up to 300kg or something ridiculous in front rack for the such drills...

Heavy walkouts (~110% ish), otherwise you just have to have a much firmer setup - and confidence plays a big role too.

Back from holiday soon having completed my 4 week squat and deadlift programs 2 weeks ago. Sunday/Monday I will be assessing my max lifts, hopefully adding 5kg to each. I am hoping the rest will help - it has always been beneficial in the past.

Looking at holiday pics I think I need to add in some calf raises :p

Edit: haven't lost any strength, deadlifts felt good. Warmed up properly today too. Max squat attempt tomorrow :)

I'm deep within the seventh circle of fatigue hell...1 more week until I can start climbing back out of this pit I've dug myself into :D

Just under 4 weeks out from the comp, got this week, heavy 5x5 the week after, then some 4s and triples and finally a relaxing week where I'm praying my body will piece itself back together in time for me to make a decent total to end the year with :)

Doughnuts. Lots of doughnuts.

God I wish :D at the limits on bodyweight though D:

Can't wait for your comp results Reiyushin, always watching your vids on Insta. You're a strong fella, makes me feel very insignificant in comparison!

Cheers buddy :D If everything goes to plan there'll be a squat pb and a bench pb. Deadlift is wrecked so little to no chance on it :D

Anyone know how much weights sell for? since joining the gym a few months ago I haven't really touched my home stuff, and I could really do with the space now.
