What's the best way to improve shoulder mobility? I've been doing shoulder dislocations and band pull aparts every other day.

Anything else I can do? I want to do internal and external rotator cuff exercises, anyone know how I can do these with resistance bands?

Yes. YouTube "internal and external shoulder rotation" or even "MobilityWOD shoulders." :)

I even made a video of it somewhere...
 
I am new to it all, and I would like to ask your opinion on steroids. My friend uses some oral steroids and he says that they help him get good results. What are your thoughts on it? Do you take steroids? Is it good or not to do it this way?

In your position stay well away from them.

They are another tool in a gym goers arsenal not a magic pill.

We're also not really allowed to get into any proper discussion on them on here which is why this post isn't bursting at the seems with information.

Oral steroids give good results for an acute exacerbation of COPD or a transplant if that's what your friend means? I don't have either of those so I don't take them.
 
Second hand Weight prices are per kg approximately:
Standard iron: 50p
Olympic iron: £0.75-1
Olympic iron high qual (eg ivanko): £1-1.50
Olympic steel: £2-3
Competition grade: £4-5

Eleiko and ivanko usually get a better price but they're rarely for sale around here and comp bumpers will be more again.
 
Finished week 4 of smolov jr today, squat 1rm went from 162.5 to 172.5 which I'm happy with. Initially racked up 175 but it felt too heavy as soon as I unracked... While it was "fun" I never intend to do smolov jr again, workout 12 is something I never want to experience again.
