I am in the wrong job lol
So much hard work though, some weeks I'm hitting close to 70 hours a week, though 30 of those hours are paid overtime

Exactly, so he's basically almost working two jobs. It's still a nice amount of money but it's a slightly different picture put like that.
Depends on what days I'm doing the overtime on.
Mon - Saturday between 7am - 10pm it's time and a third, between 10pm - 6am it's time and two thirds and any hours Sunday is double time.

there's a lot of information I can't give out (had toSign a privacy contract) but atm I'm currently in charge of the manufacturing of the landing gear, wings and blades of all commercial planes as well as military equipment
As for level wise it's hard to say, those 3 I've listed are just a small % of what we do.
Starting from CEO, down to the MD, then to business directors, finance, then me and a team of 15, don't know what you'd call us really as we work as a team

I seriously doubt the op has the motivation and drive to achieve a 50k+ paying job.
You would have done it or be close by your age if it were ever going to happen.
27k isn't exactly peanuts anyway compared to what a lot of people earn and you make it sound like an afk brain job

This. A few years ago all I wanted was money, to the point where I was obsessed with it and would do anything to become rich. Lately I seem to have done a complete u-turn and don't really care at all. I'm reading the thread and the only thing I'm thinking is: there's got to be more to life than this?
how successful were you in this goal and what do you believe was the reason for the motivation loss?
