Anyone know a list of rifle shooting ranges in england
Can only find two and they near each other in wales. But over 2hrs drive. Although it is up to 3km
Always fancied giving longer range shooting a try, tried normal shooting range when in America and tbh it was easy and pretty boring.
Rifle at long range must be a lot harder.

I can highly recommend orion, I do a lot of shooting but booked a day on the range there. It was freezing cold and snowing so range was limited to 1000yds due to visibility but with cross winds etc that was challenging enough. .338lap mag was fantastic though still prefer the .30-06
People do shoot there out to 3km though with .338, .50cal
Amidar, love the look of that stock, is it custom made?
No it's the standard stock that comes with the laminate version of the HW100, think the earlier laminate stocked models didn't have the adjustable cheek piece.
Had a go at buying a pistol but it turns out that air pistols are included in the arms embargo on russia so no baikal 46m for me.
The retailer has offered a FAS 6004 with any grip option for the same price even tho the display price on the FAS is about £120 more.
I did and still kinda do want the baikal with the oversized lever, higher fps and zero effort spent to make it look like a real gun.
But that's not an option right now. I'm going to have a look at the FAS 6004 in the shop tomorrow (today)
Would I be right in thinking it would be a safe punt to take the FAS and maybe trade it later if a Baikal turned up given that they are offering the FAS at a discount.
Saw a secondhand one for £170, it was only up one day but when I called someone else had got there already![]()
I was always fascinated by air weapons as a child but never owned anything beyond a gat gun. Even still to this date the only thing I own was an impulse purchase of some cheap second-hand Spanish carbine which i've only used once about 6 years ago.
Is it wrong to admire the beauty of such things but not have any interest in using them?![]()
I remember test firing my P99 indoors when I got years ago, not a good move. Lovely looking pistol.
If that wood is public land it is a no go, if it is private make sure you have written consent and and something like BASC insurance. A well setup backstop is always a must too.
I would love to use my garden for 10m target but it isn't practical due to the layout and even slight risk of ricochet.
