*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

Oh do you really expect me to believe that.......

Only yesterday Steve told me iphone screen > amoled :D

Prob true but the Galaxy uses SuperAMOLED displays that are far far better than normal AMOLED. But hey who cares in a few months the next bunch of Droid/Winmo phones will be arriving with the Tegra 2 or 1.5Ghz Snapdragons with HD screens. People dont buy the iPhone to be top of the pile HW wise (at least i hope not) as its an annual upgrade unlike the many Phone manufactures trying to out do each other over a year with the other OSs. Iphones do what they do well, look nice and are simple to use, i liked my iphones i had but i prefer the Android OS as i like to mess around with the phone, for me its a better OS, its not for everyone though.

Just rang T-Mobile as someone in the iPhone IRC chat room stated that T-Mobile can get it upon request. T-Mobile confirmed it for the 3GS but not the 4....but then again...the 4 isn't out yet. So theres hope :D

Guys, dumb question.
As with EVH and many others above, I am on the Simplicity 20 tariff now with my 3G. I want away from shoddy o2 though.

Obviously this means waiting for Orange to put up their prices and finding an ideal tariff, and then buying the iPhone 4 on PAYG. However what do I do about my moby number? I would like to retain that when I switch to Orange - is that possible?

I think all you have to do is ask for your PAC code when you cancel your contract and it moves accross over to the new network. Its pretty easy to do.

September release in Saudi Arabia, time to save up for that unlocked goodness and hand down the 3GS to the Mrs

I think this could be the iPhone killer everyone has been waiting for.... Lol

Anyone wanna buy some cheap [insert any other phone manufacturer in here] shares ....... Lol

What's wrong with o2?

All I know is that its the only network that gets a signal in my house :p

... regarding the simplicity contract, will they just send out a new sim and you activate it when the 4 is out or something?

It seems the 3G is still getting a great price on the bay, looks like mine will be up there very soon!

O2 are very poor in my area, I'm switching to Orange too.

As has already been said, just ask O2 for your PAC code and you can port your number across to whichever network you want.

I imagine so.

If you pre-register interest they'll send you a micro-sim before launch day.

Found some interesting stat comparisons for those they may be interested.

So here another question, being about six months into my 3gs contract, IF I were to buy a new iPhone outright from the apple store, would I be able to take my current contract with O2 and get a mSim card from them with my current contract intact?

You can always cut it to fit ;)

I was all set to buy one as soon as it came out.. I'm due an upgrade on Orange.. and then i saw that they are only releasing it with a max of 32gb.. WHY????? I was thinking it would be at the VERY minimum 64gb.. maybe 80gb or 128gb.

Disappointed to say the very least.
