*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

Well they don't have to offer you anything? They're out to make money, sure they will twist the advertising of this "Offer" to suit them. What large business wouldn't.

They dont, but they have...and what they've offered me is worse than if they didn't. You wouldnt buy a sandwich that was on "offer" if they charged you £4 instead of £2 for bread that was already on the sandwich would you!

Guess i'll wait and see if i'm eligible as a Platinum customer, else I might as well take my £900 elsewhere.

I've got a 16G 3G iphone in mint condition, I've just sent off for an envelope from o2recycle who are going to give me about £190 including the 10% code. The Code validated but it never gave me a total with the code just the £173:confused:

My 18 month contract ended last month and i've just continued with it as i knew the new iphone was on its way. I'm thinking of going with o2 again as i've had no problems but this time I want to buy the 32GB on payg at £550 and take a 12month simplicity contract out at £15pm allowing me to upgrade every june:D

I would normaly take out a contract but these 18 and 24 month contracts are just too long.

Can anyone see a problem with my plan, will i get the 10% extra from 02recycle, Will my local o2 store have the iphone 4 on release day?

Getting really excited now

bah just received the most pointless email from O2, giving me info that I knew already! Got excited, thought it might be details about contracts and stuff.

Are all the providers waiting for some1 to make the first move?
Then they can release their plans with better stuff and lower costs?

Just came on to say about that.

I got my phone in October last year, my renewal date gives me an early upgrade price of £180 - O2 recycle will give me £240 for my 3GS. Hmmmm. Wonder how much they'll be, I really want one.

Unsure whether to recycle the phone now or wait til 24th, I should imagine there'll be sharp drop in the value by then?

Yeah a couple of the lads have done that but mine's coming up to a year old now, not sure if it's still in warranty? I might take it through and chance them swapping it for a new one, could get a good price for a brand new 3GS then too! :D

Same! My 3GS was bought on launch day, June 18th 2009, so is just still in 12months.

I'd never noticed the crack until I looked for it, but I've booked a Genius for lunch tomorrow.... ;)

Same!

The envelope arrived this morning, but they sent two .

One question about it if anyone knows, is the 7-days from when I filled it in on their website, or when I receive the envelope? Also, is it 7-days for me to send it, or 7-days for them to receive it?

iPhone has double the RAM and most of the screen resolution of the iPad?

That's just sad.

£260 to upgrade, £240 from recycling 3GS with O2. :D

Edit: Seems Cex give a bit more than O2 meaning I could upgrade for no additional cost

Well you'd still need to buy the phone? Or have you factored that in to your £260?
