*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

So.. screen protectors..

I had the Zagg invisible shield, which after about 2 months went all cloudy- when I removed it the plastic film was all discoloured (Almost purple?!) and cloudy. So that was £15 wasted.

Heard good things on here about the Power Support film, found it on mobile fun (for £30!!!) Thought i'd give it a try as it gets such good reviews and went for the crystal clear film as i'm not keen on the anti glare ones. Disapointed when it arrived as it was the Japanese market product, which didnt come with everything originally stated and had no english instructions.

It went on ok, i've had it on a week now- and its covered in scratches already! The only thing i keep in my pocket with the phone is my Renault key card which is flat and made of softish plastic.

Can't believe i've wasted another 30 notes on screen protectors!

Shirly someone makes a decent quality, reasonably priced screen protector that doesnt need changing every 5 minutes?!

Can't you just keep this key card in another pocket? I've had my iphone for about 8 weeks and with no screen protection in my pocket and it's still unscathed

Any of you guys able to recommend somewhere for a repair? Answered text message with wet hands and now my home button is completely unresponsive on my iphone 4? Need to find somebody I can post it off to rather than a walk in repair but my Google fu is weak and I cant seem to find a decent third party to do the repair or any idea of the cost of getting Apple to do it. :(

Id still try Apple if the wet indicators arent pink (well the ones you can see arent) - obviously though only if you can get to a Store though...

ps3ud0

IIRC Apple's repair charges when out of warranty (as you'll be with water damage) aren't actually too bad.

when i returned my first ip4 the guy i talked to said the indicators were supposed to be bright green

This has probably been asked but this thread is 120 pages....

Anyone know if contracts are negotiable? i.e. will Voda match a tesco deal if i get through to the cancellations department? I'm with Voda and their offers aren't very competitive.

Anyone find that sometimes that when you charge your iPhone over nightyou wake up in the morning and it only charges upto around 95-96%?

I'm having the exact same problem. Plus mine is showing the overheating message more and more often.

Spoke to Apple regarding this, they want me to head to an Apple store for a direct replacement. Apparently the person I spoke to on the phone had a word with a head engineer and they wanted me to take it in asap. Haven't done so yet as the nearest Apple store is a pita to get to.
