Hi all just a quick question. I am interested in gettting the new iphone 4 but ws wondering about data usage.

Could someone tell me is 500mb enough data to stream a 1hr tv show on bbc i player for example. Or does any kind of data streaming eat up data and i need to go higher.

Thanks for replies.

1 hour of iPlayer over 3g will eat up a lot of your months bandwidth, around 360MB per hour.

If you plan on streaming a lot either go to places that have wifi or choose another provider that offers a larger amount of data like Vodaphone, Tesco or Three.

That is very strange. There would be little point in doing it at all if it is close to June as the new iPhone would be starting to do the rounds.

I wonder what the reason is, I just dont buy that its so difficult to manufacture, especially as Apple wont say exactly why.

Adding on to last night’s Apple announcement that the company would further delay the release of the white iPhone 4, we have received new information that paints a different story. According to a previous source of ours, we have been told that Apple in fact has no plans to release the white model iPhone 4. Our source hypothesizes another “delay” communicated around March leading us into an iPhone 5 release time-frame in June / July. Something interesting is that manufacturing sources our contact has are keeping quiet on the matter, not confirming that this was in fact a manufacturing issue at this point, but that there might be something else going on behind the scenes.

You can however, if you are really that desperate, purchase a replacement front and back in white for the iPhone. My brother has done so and it looks very good although I don't think I would bother with the hassle involved. ;)

Just wondering what folk on here think of the following deal;

Apple iPhone 4 32GB on Orange on Orange iPhone Extra, £35, 18 months, 400mins, 500texts, 500mb and 50mms per month and sat nav.

Anyone else on this deal?
