It works alright with my northern accent, there are things that it struggles with but it seems to be okay.

This post was typed using Siri, not too bad considering it is beta software.

I did have to make a few corrections though.

That's actually one of the worst things you can do to a lithium-ion battery.

Small frequent charges aka topping up, is best.
 
Well she sent a txt to me to try it. She said "hey , can you believe I reached level 69 on bejewelled ?"

It came up with

"hey, can you behave VLXXI sixteen five on believed?"

Not even close

Mine was through Syncreon and UK Mail delivered it, also try to call Apple?
 
Anyone having any issues with Siri? Mine makes a weird "sea" noise (like the sounds that waves make) when it is speaking back. My g/f's does not make this noise at all.

Additionally, it appears to make a static noise at the end of some sentences.

I'm trying a restore but think this is going to be hardware related.

Mine doesn't do that as far as I can tell

Similar to the SE phones in terms of dynamic range, DOF, detail etc but much less compression/NR/over sharpening and better colours. (Gotta love Apple's PP!)

True, but Apple are usually quite good considering how much they care about the aesthetics of their products.

I suppose though with how many they must have been trying to get out of the door, as swiftly and secretively as possible that most likely QC was rushed.

I trimmed mine down. I had previsouly trimmed it to use with a sim adapter in my 3GS but in the iphone 4s would not fit.

The corner had a bit too much on so had to trim some more off, I actually think i trimmed away some metal but its now in the 4s and working fine

For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

My iPhone 4S is on its way to the depot :( Nobody in when they called and they won't arrange redelivery for today.

They tried 6 of my neighbours and all of them are out :( :(

50 mile round trip tomorrow to pick it up :( UPS delivered to my friend who lives less than a mile from me hours earlier so why mine was on a UK Mail van I don't know :(
