The new iphone is dated compared to smart phones that have been out for months.
Everyone can see this.
With Apple? Surely you mean Android?
That's all well and good, but why do you care so much about being the administrator of your phone? What if it does everything you want it to, and more?
It's a phone, after all.
Marginally dated hardware (but still fairly new), but miles better software and overall support.

Yet the technical spec is largely less important on IOS because it runs so well.
The IP4's spec is a fair way behind the SGS II, yet you wouldn't know it by using the device.

It is quite pathetic isn't it, and it proves most of them will just buy anything with Apple written on it and convince themselves it's ground breaking tech lol.
They argue it's a massive boost over the iP4 with its dual core cpu, its increased storage space, its faster gpu etc but when you point out there are 1.4-1.5Ghz dual core cpu phones with HD screens just around the corner its.. so what why do you need that spec in a phone.
It was an embarressment today in all honesty, nothing short of a practical joke. Had it been released in summer on the usual annual cycle it would have acceptable but it is quite clear they were too busy milking people with the release of the white iP4.
I was in work this week and chatting to a mate who is a proper Apple fanboy and when he saw I sold my iP4 and bought a SGS2 he said 'why did you buy that, this is much better'. When I asked why he thought that he actually said, 'you can text on this and do facetime'. This is the reason why Apple charge extortionate prices and make so much money.
Nice to assume sir. Could be one of a million things, never felt the need to troubleshoot as it's only used to transfer stuff across to son's ipod. Possibly loads of solutions, but I only need it to do that one thing. Why waste time fixing a problem I don't have, but it doesn't perform well on my particular setup

yes i can, dont really need itunes or doubletwist for that tho.

Define better? Your phone has better spec, mine has half the spec. Both boot in the same time, both launch apps as quickly, hell in all honestly after using various Android devices, mine probably takes pictures faster
Then answer - whats the point of your 'superior' hardware?
