I know everybody's using silly examples and poor analogies but come on...
It's a better analogy than most that have been put forward.
Apps, iTunes, software quality & support all swing people toward the iPhone.

However with Apple products it isn't about the raw specs, it's about the end result.
Assuming they cost the same, if an ATi 6950 is on paper slower than a GTX 570 but actually provides a better gaming experience (i.e. higher IQ, steadier framerates) then which would you buy?
Arr. you see assuming again. Slate is a nasty word when I said it didn't play with my setup. Hanging and stalling kinda makes using it in it's entirety a moot point really...I said it sucks, because it does when it just sits there doing jack. I can achieve all that itunes does for me with other software, that's my choice. Don't make out I'm anti Apple for everything, the ipod is fine....nowt better in its market
Frankly, the screen is too big for me (the phone's too chunky for my liking, 3.5" is perfect for me) and maybe just maybe this assistant stuff swings it for me? you know.. features.

no it isnt, its trash just like the rest of it. a 1.2ghz cortex a9 is not out of date because the 1.0ghz version was out a few months earlier. they are the same family and generation of cpu's.

the camera and 1080p video is really swinging it for me on the 4s, the sample photos they have on the apple site look amazing
So you'd change your whole platform and way of working for faster CPU speed?
It's not a fact Apple is over priced for the tech you get. They're expensive i give you that but they are most certainly not overpriced.
Using a car analogy again as i know you love these, a Mondeo does the same as a BMW 3 series but it's just...not...well...as nice.
That in itself proves my point, the rest of it is trash.
They do look good, the sensor and lens used look to be the best, or at least one of the best, ever found in a mobile.

Ok, so if you had all those things you'd change even though it was a different OS?
Dissapointed with the pricing on the apple store now the 4S has been announced. I expected the 16gb 4 to be at the price of the 3GS. Instead they have removed the 16 and 32gb 4 and just now sell the 8GB for £429. That's a complete **** take tbh.
