Can't say I'm overwhelmed, but Siri sounds like it could be the future for a lot of people. I'm currently overseas so unless I suddenly go mad, I doubt I'll be buying anything to replace my (dying) iPhone 3G until June 2012. Sad though it is that I'll have to soldier on until then...

Just to add, I've used voice control so much on my current phone.. Being able to message with the voice control could be handy in the car.
Also, if I can play a podcast from this, I'll be happy.
I take it Siri is a i4S only feature then? Or will all users of iOS5 get it?

I know, but I think you can do a fair extrapolation of the prices of 64GB compared to previous US/UK contract/offline prices for IP4.

i'll probably spring for one, or at least preorder as it does seem a genuine step forward in performance and my iphone 4 is starting to feel slow.
i've been playing with galaxy SII and I have to say the larger screen is very nice, so i'll be interested to see what samsung announce next week.
as for siri, looks very interesting, but I just can't see it catching on apart from driving and walking with handsfree, but if it does really work as well as it looks then maybe it will prove me wrong.

The problem with siri is, it's a function that will be forgotten. You'll be halfway finding the info or doing the task you want when you remember that the function exists..
However, if they are the same US contract prices as they were when the ip4 was released you could also assume that the UK payg pricing will be the same as well. Circa £500 for 16GB.

Gah, that's means the top iPhone 4S (64GB) will be more £££ than the top iPhone 4 (32GB) was at launch
