So the 4S is identical to the 4, as in all the normal cases will fit?

Gonna order a case now in time for receiving the phone.

Don't jump the gun, just in case. I think one of the live blogs said it was the same as the Verizon CDMA casing, which (iirc) varied marginally from the GSM version. I think the buttons on that model were in a slightly different position.

I'll maybe see how much I can get for my perfect condition iPhone 4 and see how much extra a 4S is. The Siri stuff I'd really enjoy. Also the extra speed and memory just makes for a better jailbreaken iPhone

Can anyone remember what time the UK preorders started last year on the iPhone 4?

The 4S moniker belies the fact that there is a whole chunk of re-engineering under the hood. A marketing mistake IMHO.. if they called this the iphone 5 then everyone would be happy.

The camera and video upgrades do look good though, there's a lot more to the sensor on the 4s then just a MP bump.

£429 for an 8GB 4G is a joke, and £319 for a 3GS who the **** are they kidding? You can get a GS2 SIM free for £360.
