PC on and logged in to Apple.com, with express checkout activated

Going for 32GB & 64GB White for the wife and I (respectively). Can't risk there being a shortage and mucking about as hers is a Christmas present.

They ship them out early with instructions to the couriers, to hold the item until release day.

If you are lucky the courier delivers it anyway, or you can sometimes blag a collection from your local depot.

Really? What about the fiasco with iPad 2 having delivery dates pushed back a lot?

Also, whichcourier do they use? I'm guessing FedEx or ups

UPS delivered my iPhone 4 I think, either way it arrived nice and early (only 3 weeks late @ Apple)

Apparently my pre order wasn't part of the first batch of deliveries. The delivery date for the second wave of pre orders was some 3 weeks after the first, or that's what I was told when I enquired

Everything I've ever had delivered has come from UPS. The guy even comes to the door and says "Delivery for you.... from Apple!"

Was that recently though? All recent deliveries I've had from Apple were with TNT and I know for a fact TNT have a huge international contract with them.
