I'm using the same here. I wish there was an option to turn off the MBAM scheduler as I don't use it.

I am using EsetNod32. I would also like to change, but I have not found another AV that is so much better it is worth the bother of changing.

MSE had a program update for me today, dunno what it does LOL

I have to say I've been using ESET NOD32 for over 3years - no viruses, no problems - I love it.

Runs silently in the background (doesn't consume much mem) and works great with gaming.

Im being offered a 12 month trail of Mcafee internet suite by sky. then it would be £3 a month after on top of my bill.. which i thinks a bit steep to be honest, i could just go out and buy something else. So whats a best/better solution?

Can't stand McAfee - slow and had so many customers having issues with it blocking the Internet and needing to keep defaulting the settings to unblock it.

I'd go for Eset NOD32 or Kaspersky.

Quite happy with MSE. Not intrusive and very simple to setup. Would like to see a head to head review just out of curiousity.
