just ordered my mahoromatic summer special DVD tryed to contact ADV to see if they were bringing it out over here and got no reply that was about a week and a half ago :rolleyes:
PS posted about the MCM expo in london a while anybody going :confused:
 
ep 26 and both characters really :)
both had backgrounds that you didn't know about fully until near the end of the series :)


Fieldy, I haven't heard anything about a UK release of the Mahormatic Summer Special, although I would suspect it wouldn't be out until after the second season if at all.
It's definately worth it though if you liked the series (it's very funny).

I dont know, i've never been to a con or anything so will think about it.

Was going to ask isn't there a Con in southampton? does anyone go to that one?

As for the mahoromatic summer special DVD good DVD and i like a nice box to it adds to the show nicely :) need to rewatch the show again though.

yup i got the version with the box coming!, i havent read anything about a con in southampton, i usally get my info from ANN or Neo

hack dusk was tad twee for my liking, where as the original hack//sign was better for being different and original and having a decent ending as stated.
 
After being a huge DBZ fan I decided to watch some other anime.
I watched Ghost in the Shell and i liked it so much i got Stand Alone Complex dvd's. Just finished S.A.C vol 1 and i have to say i loved it. Can't wait to go home and watch vol 2.

I also love Cowboy Bebop, Spike is the epitome of cool :D
 
i did indeed see unison, at least if it's the one i think it was (with the characters from the games as well as the tv series).

I think it was on the second disk that came with the hack//sign 6 le:)

i think unison is set before twilight, as I don't remember any of the twilight exclusive characters being in it (although i've only seen it once, ages ago), and twilight is meant to take place a reasonable amount of time after the games and sign. :)

The tachikomas do rule :D I'll have to post a picture of the once thats I bought a little while ago. Have you seen the entire series yet? Since in the last 6-8 episodes the story does pick up quite a bit and the ending is wonderful.

And yes Spike from Cowboy Bebop is probably the coolest character in anime.

I'm waiting for the last two R1 LE's (one comes with a t-shirt, the other a tin box) :)

The Tachikoma shorts are great as well, very very funny :)


Kodiak, do you ever make up model kits?
if you there is a "garage" kit tachikoma that looks quite nice (but is fairly expensive, about $70) made by a guy from the macrossworld forums.
