one of my most favourite shows got LH again (to finish the collection) and its wicked definatly recconmened if you love the normal show

Hey guys :p

Lostcorpse are there any extras on grave of the fireflies ?

Bee watching scrapped princess atm a good series, nearing the end now tho :(
^^ Deffo worth a look.

SAt and watched cyber city complete last night, forgot how good it was.
Goggle Rocks :D

Cromartie High School Volume 1 is next on my to watch list anyone seen this yet?
Only saw ep 2 on a newtype disc. Voum one of the Manag came free with it as well.

So Ive got that and manga vol 1 and 2 of gunslinger girl to read.

Did anyone get the LE scrapped princess vol 1 with figure ?

Lots of posts about manga since I last checked in: those of you who get it, do you mainly import it, like your DVDs? I noticed some manga online cost as much per issue in $ as they do in Borders in £ !!!

On another note, I watched the first disc of Noir and I quite liked it! There's always something ever so slightly "off" about Japanese depictions of European cities that really makes them come alive for me (same goes for London in Hellsing): it's just the tiny difference of perspective that helps to defamiliriase it and make it completely new and exciting! More importantly, it's also a true pleasure watching those girls "work":D You rarely get such understated elegance in anime - most anime gunslingers are full of showy over-the-top moves, and while I love it, Noir has a certain class the others lack.

Well, prompted by this thread I have bought my first Anime (Other than Akira, and Urotsukidoji) - Cowboy Bebop Vol.1 should be with me by the weekend :D

yeah, Bebop is easily the best anime imo. cheers for the shout Lostcorpse, i will look into it. Ive seen it about, but never actually took the time to watch it.. add that to my monster collection :D

Samurai Champloo will definitely be purchased as soon as a R2/ALL boxset is availible.. might be a while though :(

btw, im into all the mainstream stuff: Bebop, EVA, Trigun etc etc Quite liked Witch Hunter Robin, Vandread and Last Exile. Call me blasphemic, but i quite like the mix of CGI and animation :D

I'm still plugging my way through Witch Hunter Robin, Getting into it now, wasnt too convinced to begin with but the more I watch the more I like, plus I think I have a thing for Robin :o :o

Not sure what my nest purchase maybe, I keep thinking about Initial D but the cost of that little series keeps putting me off.

Reckon it may be Rah Xephon (SP?), Gundam Seed, Vandread or Boggiepop Phantom next but I'm still open to suggestions ;)
