Speaking of Ghost in the Shell I have seen a Japanese copy of Appleseed, which looks really interesting, and it is only a matter of time till resistance crumbles and I get that as well. They must be loving me at the shop I go to by now :) .
 
Hmm... I've been meaning to order the Hellsing mangas for ages! I go back home for a month in about 6 days: are there any etailers out there who can get it to me in this short a time?
 
Just to let you know, Full Metal Panic the Second Raid is being made. From what I can tell, it's a sequel to the original FMP so more guns, less comedy/romance like in FMP Fumoffu. Hope it's as good as the 1st one...

1st epp looks ok to me ;) ,time will tell if they follow the fmp format or the fumoffu style
 
To me the first eps shows that they are going the in the FMP direction, esp since the villan from the first series is going to reappear (according to what the first eps and the preview showed).
 
FRom what i've seen FMP2 looks like it's going to be good :)

Although it might be darker than the first series if it sticks to the books apparently :)
 
Adding some more to my small Anime collection:
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum: 01
Its quite cool really, sort of kid oriented but adult at the same time, showing such beautiful cinematagraphy (animatography?) that wouldn't be amiss in full length films and the like. Really cool :D

Finished watching Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away the other week, very good the pair of them :D
 
woah, hold the phone did somone mention LE evengelion manga hoe are they diffrent from the normal verions :confused: and where can i buy them from :o
 
Limited editions? I thought the only other versions of the Eva manga was the Special Editions. That only differed from the 'original' version by reading right to left and not having the SFX translated.
 
what shipping method did you use LC?

I had my ROD 7/set:p sent out via airmail the same time my GITS 7 was sent via normal mail :)

Talking of Read or Die, has anyone seen it?
I'm about to start on disk 4 now and i'm thoroughly enjoying it.
*Spoilers*I'm sure that some of the characters from the OVA are in it, namely the Joker and the clutz - i had my suspisions by about episode 4 or 5 nd i'm certain now. *Spoilers*
 
aye, i just popped home and found that my gits 7LE had arrived, I wasn't expecting it for another week or so :)
But it looks like i'm not going to be able to watch it for a few days (i'm house sitting at my sisters and her surround sound system sucks*).



*it's ok for action films but seems very bassy/slightly distorted.
 
it's remastered (better video I beleive) and 5.1 sound i beleive, based on the R2 Japanese rerelease :)
I think it's been mentioned before, I know i've had volume 1 on pre order for months :)
