Re-watched through Hanasaku Iroha this weekend up to episode 18, really am finding it a nice series to watch with great OPs and EDs (the first set of which I have now on CD with the second ones on order).

Also started re-watching Angelic Layer again which is another nice series.

(been watching a bit less lately due to watching some non-anime and concentration issues).
 
On ep.16 of bebop now, the last set of episodes were much better, really liked the toys in the attic and the my funny valentine episodes.

I've even started to like the theme tune :p

As much as I like the art work, how the series progressed I didn't like, just short stories each episode with a loosely based main storyline.

Yeah I completely understand what you mean, but I'm enjoying the fleshing out of each character's back story. The last few episodes have revealed the past of Spike, Faye and Jet.
 
forgive me its been aloooooooong time since I last posted in this thread :o but does anyone know where I can buy a collectors edition of Evangelion 1.11on blu ray? finding it difficult to get hole of :confused:

I don't think there was one in the UK, IIRC the UK 1.11 had two versions, DVD, or blu-ray.

With the 2.22 they seemed to do DVD only, blu ray only, and a collectors edition with DVD and blu-ray (at the same price as the Blu only).
 
ah that would be why lol I saw a 2 disc DVD version of 1.11 and assumed that a blu ray version would come out but there just seems to be the standard version and after some digging I have found a HMV exclusive 'extended edition' not sure what that entails :confused:

As far as the actual feature is concerned what changes have been made from the orginal?
 
Discovered and watched the first couple of episodes of gintama over the weekend. Genuinely funny :)

Whats everyone elses opinions on it ?

The collectors edition was a HMV exclusive and regardless of if you got the DVD or the BR version you only got the DVD version of 1.01 (and yes I do own both DVD and BR versions)

Enjoyed the dub too :D

Not quite yet ... took 6 days to go through Customs. It got to the Parcel Force depot today so am currently awaiting the bill before delivery :(
 
Just finished watching Baka and Test. Very enjoyable school anime. At first i was a bit disappointed in it because they cheated on the art in places but over time i just grew to ignore em.

Very fun, bit ecchi and a very cool and unique battle system lol. Probably make a game out of it for one of the consoles later unless their is one out allready.

Loved the big sister parts mm who could refuse that i wonder. Daft sod for not trying it imo. :p

I know i know but its just anime incest not real incest. :p

On to Azumanga Daioh now, animation feels a bit dull and not very colourful and its a bit slow but its not too bad. Quite funny at times.

If anyone knows any fun school ones with cute girls in let me know, tho i probably seen a lot of em by now there maybe one i have missed. As usual eng dub ones only plz. ;)

Oh yeah Queens blade season 2 (eng dub) is out it seems, so gona grab that soon. :)

Hopefully it's reasonably well insured, not that that will help with the lost sales though :(


I just checked my Rightstuf orders and it looks like Spice and Wolf S2 LE is shipping :D
Unfortunately I'm going to have to give TRSI a ring as for some reason my mastercard isn't letting the transaction go through:p
