Does the grid autosport actually work properly in crossfire for anyone? I get less fps and stupid slowdown to like 20 fps with crossfire enabled but with single card I get about 10fps more and its as smooth as silk.
 
Stulid is there any chance you can unlock the driver thread i created? The previous community manager (Warsam) was allowed to create driver threads when important drivers were released, despite the huge AMD drivers thread. It would make it easier for me to track issues and ultimately help AMD users. Thanks. :)
 
I closed it as I cant see the need for two threads discussing the same thing.

You don't see two separate threads when nvidia release a new driver (and when there has been they have either been closed/merged)

And it keeps all discussion in one place.

Why cant you keep track of issues in this one thread?

Cheers for the update. Just waiting for a new Z77 motherboard to turn up and thrash my AMD's again :)
 
Upscaling looks interesting like Nvidia new stuff but i cant get it to work on my monitor, BenQ G2420HDBL.

Had it working before 2560x1440 down to 1080P with Nvidia on my monitor so pretty sure it should work with AMD to.

I've tried ticking the 2 options it says to enable if I'm having problems.

I believe downsampling isn't in this release. Hoping it's in either next or beta driver.
 
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 on saturday and installed 14.7 fine, with these i had a few black screens while installing never had these on windows 7, but can understnd this might be an effect of the driver.
Once it installed it gives me an orange question mark instead of the green, so checked log and each section of the driver says success so i think it must be fine, yet to try :)
 
I can confirm that its not display port 1.2 that makes my monitor flicker and go weird its actually the 10bit colour that applies in the CCC when I enable 1.2 on my monitor. Aslong as I go into the CCC and change it back to 8 it works fine.

I had restarted yeah but it was.... odd!

I did a driver sweep and reinstalled drivers. Seems fine now except for a "mom implementation" (?!) error on start up. An annoying pop up to tell me about it... but no other obvious problems as yet. I'll do some reading and hopefully get rid.

Do you know when we can expect down sampling Matt? Also do AMD have any plans to introduce old Skool adaptive v-sync like the one in the Nvidia drivers/radeon pro.

Oh any news on a 290 price drop as well? OcUK dropped their prices for a best part of a week - on the tri-x anyway...

Another thing any chance AMD will start using command line queuing in it's dx11 drivers-these gave Nvidia a nice little boost in bf3 and I believe the same is true for bf4. If you could find out an answer either way that would be great.

This AMD gig do they just pay you in cards or us it the day job now then???
