**THE AMD DRIVERS THREAD**

Has anyone seen any comments about plans to support crossfire eyefinity for pacing? I know the single screen drivers only just came out so may be too soon, but just wondering if anyone had heard anything or if it has been put into the "too difficult to ever do" pile.

Supposedly next month

Thanks for the replies guys, it's good to know it's being worked on rather than brushed under the carpet for being such a small minority. The new driver isn't suitable for my setup (3 screens in eyefinity group for gaming, 1 extended for monitoring) because the monitoring screen always goes black when the game is launched but alt+tabbing out and back in to get it running ALWAYS leaves me locked at a very jerky 30FPS. Really glad the driver's working for the single screeners out there, and fingers crossed I'll eventually be joining you. :-D

Haven't seen any statement from AMD but [H] say the current beta is "Phase 1" of the FP rollout, "Phase 2" will make it available in every other scenario.

13.4 vs 13.6 gives around an extra 7% perf in certain titles, so I'd imagine 13.8 is along the same lines as 13.6 performance wise. Either way it should give you a nice little bump, 13.6 was/is a very good driver, I didn't hear of any major issues at all.

im on 13.5 beta 2 atm and i only realy play FC3 atm... any point me updating to 13.6/13.8?

13.6 is 13.5 with some display corruption and audio issues fixed, for most 13.5 will be fine, though you may want to take the OGL betas for a whirl and see what you think of them too :)

In this instance im probably the worst person to ask. The only synthetic benchmark ive run on my xfire setup is Valley so ive no idea what a decent score is for 3dmark. Probably easier to work out if you use stock ghz edition clocks of 1050/1500.

:D Thought you could help better than that :p

On a realistic note, dont you also run 3Dmark yourself Mate? and what score you get at your clocks?
