Weeeeee! I'm not interested in any of the new features as of yet but at least I have finally been able to upgrade my drivers from 14.4 without my PC blowing up

Hopefully I should see some large framerate boosts as well as hopefully the dreaded blackscreen bug fixed

COD AW seems to play a lot better on my 280X now, FPS is almost always 91 now.

Only installed the drivers, have no need for CCC.

Based on what? I'm loving the ability to run games at a higher res, especially if crossfire works on the game

Not for me. Painless, yes, but not pointless. ULPS is now back working on my system, so my second GPU now goes to sleep as it should when I'm not gaming. One less fan running means a slightly quieter PC.

Based on the fact that I was unable to run my current game I'm playing ( bf4) on higher resolution....which is a shame as that is what I wanted to do ...just ended up with black boarders on either side of the game screen

Fair enough, but in BF4's case, you could just use the in game scaler.

Yeah, why are people bothered about upscaling something that has had up to 200% scaling since day one?

even running the game at 2560 x 1080 ( I have 2 ..29" lg superwide monitors) it looks as though everything is a bit " narrow " is that makes any sense

Foster Grant, look backa few pages. I believe UnclePetey reported having balck boarders when using VSR and was able to resolve the problem.

I think Foster's problem may be more related to a lack of support for 21:9 resolutions.

For anyone getting black borders (16:9 users), you may have to set your desktop resolution to match the game res you plan to use.

I still get the borders on one of my screens. Not sure why it doesn't happen on the other and haven't had a chance to try this fix yet.

Looks like the driver itself has a perf gain for me in a few games so all is not lost with Raptr being a waste of time.

DayZ seems to run a bit smoother with higher FPS
BF4 seems smoother too



Grid 2 has also improved on perf from the driver i was on before..

Yes, it does work.
Setting the desktop res to match the game means no more black borders

Only issue is that i can't get the Contour Removal and Fluid Motion Options to appear. Have reported it to AMD so i hope i get a reply.

I have NONE of these new features that i can see in this driver. Its just another driver with some perf gains. Im not too bothered to be honest as im waiting for the next gen from AMD next year but it'd be nice to se something extra for my 7950 in the meantime.

"(260 and up)" must mean the HD 7xxx series aswell then.
