** The AMD Navi Thread **

2070 and 2060 Supers being in the Navi 5700/XT reviews is going to make the Navi parts look worse.

Pretty sure the hierarchy will go

2070 Super
5700XT
2070
2060 Super
5700
2060.

But last I looked at a similar price to 2080 but without RTX features.
Imo for purely gamers it is a hard sell for the "new" AMD cards.
(Were some nice deals on the Vegas if you liked the game bundle a month or so ago)

I don't think the 2070 super is going to shine with RTX features enabled, it will slow to a crawl, I would sooner take the extra 8g of Vram the VII offers over rtx being good on the 2070 super. even the 2080ti dips into the 60fps with rtx, Rtx is a few gens away to see it shine.

Radeon vii is what... £650... So sure but you are not comparing like with like. Can get a 2080 for £600 . Sure the ram has use cases for some people but generally for gaming imo most would (and should) take the 2080 every time imo. (I am no NV fanboy, I would buy a sparkle S3 virge if it gave me better FPS or eye candy in my games :)
(I agree RTX is not really there yet which is why I got a 1080ti for £580 instead of 2080 for £670, most new features take a generation to really be useful, but better to have it than not imo if price is equivalent)

you can get a VII for under 570 if you look, 599 here also. and the VII beats the 1080ti. the VII must have some kind of anti on it, its a great card for more than gaming.

Sunday's going to be interesting.

Overclocking of the 2060 Super is looking like it's taking it to above stock 2070 levels.

Navi needs to be able to overclock well as well.

It's sad that given how crap all the price/performance of everything is that I'm hyped for overpriced Nvidia refreshes.
