** The AMD Navi Thread **

Had no issues over a month now with the 19.7.3 and the 5700XT.
And the only drivers had issues (image was blurry) was with the 19.6.x on the Vega 64, for over 12 months using AMD card and regularly updating the drivers.
Update Panos, dem's the old drivers!

The TL DW is £100 price difference for 6% slower perfomrance on the reference 5700 XT at 1440P and 9% slower performance at 4K.

Sorry I was taking the Mick that it's now a few percentage slower. Given the AMD fine wine mantra and you're currently getting beaten at your own game.

Performance on the reference 5700XT compared to the price of a 2070S is obviously on the 5700XT's side. But a reference 5700XT has caveats.

In reality we're being gouged from all sides. From AMD to Nvidia to the retailers and AIB'.

It's pretty far behind V2, was quite surprised.

You forget the price difference that MSI 2070S goes for £578, the 5700XT is £130-150 CHEAPER.
He should be comparing the 5700XT with the 2060S at the same price range, ofc that would have been seal clubbing. :D

One note. The previous review was with the 2070S FE which is running pretty hot. That specific MSI one is the best 2070S out there (and at £580-600 price range) and heavily overclocked out of the box.

From all reviews have seen, the difference between 5700XT blower and the AIB cards are better thermals and acoustic. Not some ground breaking performance, until tweaked.
And I say, my AE (blower) is faster than these AIB cards with just auto undervolting. As haven't bothered yet to tweak the card :o

Easy lads, I wasn't slagging off the card, I'm just surprised that it's so far behind in V2, there's an bigger difference in V2 than Fortnite! I always thought V2 was pretty close in terms in performance between AMD/Nvidia so to see it at the bottom of the list of games in the comparison was a pretty big surprise, especially with Fortnite having a smaller gap. I wonder if it's a case of V2 really liking Turing, disliking Navi, or somewhere in between, shame there aren't more cards to compare.

As for price, I think all gpus are overpriced at the moment personally. (some more than others)
