The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

oooh... new strike witches :)

And theres new series this season which could be described quite easily as strike witches with boats.... Kantai Collection, watched the first episode and I was literally thinking this is strike witches on water lol

To be honest given some of the things being posted in that thread and several other, unrelated, threads over the last few months I do have to wonder whether it is worth coming to this forum any more at times. It does seem on several subjects GD seems to be dropping rapidly to the lowest common denominator lynch mob mentality ...

Please stick around, i find your contributions valuable and would be a shame if you didn't turn up anymore,

Just seen the first ep of Durarara S2. Have to stay its very similar to what I could remember from the first season, which I like. Hopefully its another 20+ episodes.

Gah, just had to remake my signature as my old one got nixed as the text line must have gone to 2 lines on a mods pc without me realising (it showed as one here).

Hope this one looks familiar :p

If I look at it via the public profile (I have signatures turned off on the forum proper) then it does show to me as only one line of text which is the same length as the graphic ...

That's wierd, it shows to me as 1 line across multiple browsers and machines, I deliberately tried to keep it at/under the length of the graphic.

Odd it looks fine in Chrome and IE (although the text on everything looks a little blurry), but in FF it's two lines and the font looks slightly clearer (and weirly, slightly smaller).

Whilst I'm here, Space Dandy collectors edition Blu-ray is currently £30 on Zavvi.

It's one line for me in FF, and that's with the page slightly zoomed as the text is too small for me at the default size. For me the current text finished prior to the right most point of her hair hitting the bottom of the image.

On topic: Finished watching Accel World on BD earlier. Series was good but really needs another season.

Death note.

Been watching it the past week, now up to Episode 23 or thereabouts where Light has been released, don't have the Deathnote anymore and cuffed to L.

Does it get better? Because i am losing interest...

1 - Do they need to spell out everything?!?! The best thing about a thriller is seeing it unfold, not explain it to you in every detail before it does.
2 - These guys are meant to be the police yet they are breaking all kinds of rules in terms of holding suspects without charge, what is that about?!
3 - How stupid is Light if he only kills criminals that have appeared on the local evening news. Look up FBI's 10 most wanted FFS. What about the endless lists of terrorism suspects or just google !
4 - Why do they have no imagination in the killing? so many ways to make it look accidental, heart attack is obviously a trait now and a big giveaway so why keep doing it?!!? What about allergic reaction, choking on a doughnut, slipping in the bath, falling down a flight of stairs, blood clot for sitting funny in the sofa that travels up your brain for a stroke....That's how L sits.
5 - That L, his constant cake eating, finger licking and coffee drinking is damn annoying.

Is it worth sticking to it? On Netflix there are 37 episodes, so I got about 14/15 left.

I can't comment whether you should continue watching as it's not a series which interests me ...

... but in regards to some of your points ...

- 2. I seem to remember that the Japanese police can hold you for up to 23 days without charge which is probably longer than here.
- 3. Maybe he wants to deal with criminals that are affecting the area and thus are being reported on the news rather than online lists

I've been watching some Space Dandy, which somehow is not quite what I expected, yet also what I expected.

I'm really enjoying it.

I remember watching the first episode of Space Dandy and thinking that it was rather ... odd.

Had a bit of an odd mixture of things being watched this weekend ...
Tari Tari ... nice little series set in Enoshima which looks very nice on BD.
Attack on Titan (Pt1) ... I not overly fond of lots of gore but it's not a bad action series ...
