The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

(Ah so Firefox is deciding not to quote on this forum today)

I've used CDJapan many times to buy things but, in general, not Anime (I use them for JPOP CDs, books and magazines ... not concerts tho as Amazon JP works out cheaper). As Werewolf says if it is on there then it will be legit but it will be the Japanese release with a small number of episodes per disk (normally only a couple) and at an expensive price.

Western releases have come down quite a bit in price in recent years with cheaper series boxsets coming available. The most I've paid was for things like Clannad/Clannad After Story where I purchased the Japanese DVD LE releases (8 volumes per series @ £80/volume), prior to it being licensed for western release, along with the Japanese BD boxsets for both series (at £300+ each) when there was no sign of a western BD release as well as the Japanese MoHS BD boxset (again at ~£300) back when the only western release was on DVD of dubious manufacturing quality ...

Japanese media is always frigging expensive, I've got three concert BDs and a short drama DVD on order at the moment for £145 before shipping and received a concert boxset the other day which set me back £200. :(

got some serious love for dragonball super at the moment.

This is one of my favourite parts, the god of destruction kills the god of creations apprentice who is planning to wipe out all mortals throughout the 12 universes, including any god who objects.

Super is something I seriously look forward to every weekend. The current arc has been absolutely mind blowing.

It definitely took a while to get going, but now....its just awesome :) Love all of it!

Can't wait to see vegeto smash zamasu, not too sure what is going to happen.

Rumour has it that zeno will eventually show up

Yeah I sub to Geekdom101, his reviews are great and make me laugh. He only posts legit info and his breakdowns on the previews for the next week episodes are excellent.

I love listening to how hyped he gets over the episodes as well. Cracks me up :)

Super was slow to get going after the initial arc and some of the filler is annoying but when its action its superb. The animation is excellent and overall its just a great show.

Where can I watch Dragonball Super?

Crunchroll but you pay. Normally steamed live on youtube around lunch time (uk) on a sunday, otherwise torrent.

Yeah you know! The animation for the goku black ark is amazing! It's so awesome, but the filler stuff is rather cringe and i skip through it. Especially the Mai stuff....yuck! This weekends episode is going to sooo good!

It was also epic when goku found out chichi had been killed, and when vegeta bossed black about. Think i need to rewatch the last 3 episodes

Is the english dub out yet? I can't watch DBZ in anything but English as they are the voices I grew up with. On the other hand with things like Deathnote and Attack on Titan I can't watch them in English as I started watching them in the original voices.

Started watching Steins:gate. It's pretty good and has had me laughing at a few parts

There is no dub as of yet, but as far as ive seen Funimation will be dubbing it apparently!

Steins:Gate is so so good! Make sure you watch Robotic:Notes & Chaos:Head, they're a set, Chaos:Head is a bit wut! But its a good watch.

The last episode of Super was something special. The animation was the best yet. Great ending to the arc. Well, penultimate ending anyway.

Ah I have heard that but I'm getting impatient. I should probably get back to reading Dragon Ball.

I'm really enjoying it and all of the real world references (I'm sure I even heard the kamehameha mentioned!) I'll be sure to check those out as well. Are they the same style?

Has Netflix given up on Knights of Sidonia? I really liked that but season 3 seems to have never materialised.
